Misael Arce

Misael is a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology with a concentration in applied psych and a minor in social work. After completing undergrad, he has hopes of obtaining his master's degree in social work in order to later acquire his LCSW license. His research interests include the health disparities and well-being of black individuals, intersectional identity development, and the mental well-being of Black adolescents. Misael's goal is to work in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, specifically with adolescents facing emotional distress and unhealthy behaviors.
