Michael Trussell, BS

Mike is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has extensive experience supporting academic research through roles with the Injury and Violence Prevention Lab and the AYA Research Team at VCU, where he contributed to literature reviews, data analysis, and project management. Michael has also gained clinical experience as an intern at the VCU Hospital in the Organ Transplant Department and has presented his research at the VCU Undergraduate Research Symposium. Prior to his academic pursuits, he completed the Apprentice School at Huntington Ingalls Industries and worked as an Outside Machinist for over seven years at the same company. Michael brings strong organizational and analytical skills to diverse teams and is committed to fostering efficiency and collaboration in both research and workplace settings.
